Advanced AI Integration
Why This Matters
You've been using an AI evaluator throughout this program to score and refine your manuscripts. This week is about using that feedback loop deliberately and well — treating AI coaching as a genuine rehearsal partner, not a pass/fail gatekeeper to game.
This Week's Exercise
Submit an early draft to the gate specifically to get coaching feedback, even if you expect it to fail — the weakest-category diagnosis is more useful early than late.
Address the single weakest category identified, revise only that dimension, and resubmit — treat this as one deliberate rehearsal round, not a random retry.
Compare your score changes across categories between submissions. If one category isn't moving despite real revision, that's worth rethinking from a different angle rather than repeating the same fix.
Once you clear the gate, read back through the coaching notes you received across every attempt — the pattern across multiple rounds often reveals more than any single note did.
Coach's Note — Matt Abrahams: I've built and use AI tools trained on my own work specifically because a good feedback loop, used honestly, accelerates real skill — not because it replaces the human judgment of knowing when a line actually lands. Use the evaluator as a conversation, not a verdict.
