1. What We Collect
Account information: the email address you provide to sign in.
Content you submit: speech manuscripts, drafts, and related metadata (occasion, audience, name) you enter for evaluation.
Usage and access data: subscription status, certification progress, and which free evaluations you've used.
Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe; we receive confirmation of payment and subscription status, not your card details.
Analytics: aggregate site usage data via Google Analytics (GA4).
2. How We Use It
To provide the evaluation and certification features you request.
To send transactional emails: magic-link sign-in, payment receipts, and service-related notices.
To send optional marketing emails — only if you've opted in (see Section 4).
To improve the Service, including using aggregated, de-identified usage patterns.
3. How Your Content Is Processed
Manuscripts and speech content you submit are sent to our AI evaluation provider (Anthropic, via a secured proxy) solely to generate your evaluation. We do not sell your manuscript content, and we do not use it to train third-party AI models beyond what our AI provider's standard API terms describe.
4. Email Marketing and Your Choice
When you sign in, you may optionally check a box to receive occasional encouragement and speaking-tips emails from us. This is off by default — we only send marketing email if you affirmatively opt in. You may withdraw consent at any time by unchecking this preference in your account or using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email; withdrawing consent does not affect transactional emails necessary to operate your account (e.g., sign-in links, receipts).
We do not send marketing email to any account created before this opt-in choice existed unless that person affirmatively opts in going forward.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and evaluation data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (Section 9); we will delete data within a reasonable time except where retention is required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of marketing communications. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 9.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, access-controlled databases) to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
